Wonderful poem, Franco!

…ear 
…ear 
into some other realm 
so that I might abscond 
with my hidden motives 
or illicit intentions 
I want to remain pure 
and unmarred by deceit 
I want trust and truth 
to be the guiding force in me
unmoved by power
