Story in sonnets part thirteen

Swept down the drain, surviving the ordeal,
into the Brains cooling ponds black mad depths,
the presence of awareness they both feel,
all-knowing entity, whom all connects.

They knew the path just got a lot steeper.
“Can it hear? Can it talk?” the brave girl asked.
“I’m not sure, but let’s not rush the reaper.”
“We both better scurry up the rocks fast.”

“Tomorrow or today, that’s all there is.”
“You can’t change yesterday, ” said the smart girl.
“This isn’t a test. This isn’t a quiz.”
“The Machine Brain’s the oyster, you’re the pearl.”

As the girl slept deeply on a warm rock,
He devised a plan to get past the lock.
