Tie throttle
With twine
Check duct tape
On air filter
Check tires
Still rolling
Check gas
And oil
Push choke lever
Pull cord
Engine fires
Clatters and shudders
Old dull blade
Whirls
One more time
Cutting grass
Chopping leaves
Putting the lawn
And this old
Mechanical beast
To bed
