Crumbling rock falling, three steps to safety, she sees light.
Suddenly I’m falling upward, wet roots slapping my wincing face.
Moonlight shining dimly down below, he climbs those swaying branches.
Thank you, my friends, for writing these ten word stories and for asking me to join in the fun.
