Clouds

A sonnet

Floating away through the billowing clouds,
Not a care in the world, no thoughts at all.
Or at least as long as our thoughts aren’t loud.
Carrying a peace beyond any wall.

Shadows and valleys and tremendous height,
Rays of bright sunlight on grand monuments.
Fantastic faces, contorted delight,
unearthly anguish, unreal opulence.

Look up to the sky. See what we can see.
As long as we have some form of vision.
No matter where in life and love are thee.
What we see frees us from our minds prison.

Jealous insult with no expertise in.
Head in the clouds, called that for a reason.
