A very nice poem, Caroline! We have a lot of work to do!

… the shops 
when an eerie hush descends, 
or the sky turns a shade darker, and there it is again — 
a dull, detached dread; a giddy, bewildering disbelief. 
A silent ringing in the ears and head. 
I wish I could love the world as a child does, 
without fee…
Nothing really feels like living
